Kathi Tunheim, Assistant Professor of Management, was invited to speak by Kirk Beyer, Ph.D., Director of Human Resources at Gustavus, to lead two seminars on life gifts and career development for Gustavus Staff on Wednesday, April 2, 2012. Kathi distributed two assessment tools to help the employees discover their six areas of giftedness, according to John Holland’s RIASEC Instrument. In addition, she used Edgar Schein’s Career Anchors Assessment to help them evaluate and discuss where they are at in their careers at this point in time. Suggestions for career enrichment were discussed.
