Women In Leadership Conference Scheduled for April 19

The second annual Gustavus Women In Leadership Conference, “The Past, Present, and Future of Gustavus Women Leaders,” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19 in Alumni Hall. The event will consist of presentations, breakout sessions, and panel discussions.

Julie Gilbert, founder and CEO of WOLF Means Business will deliver the keynote address titled “Leadership is Defined by You,” at 9:10 a.m. Gilbert is a high-demand speaker who has an unmatched track record of driving significant business gains in growth, market share, and sustainable innovation for organizations of all sizes, industries, and geographies. Tickets are required and are available through gustavustickets.com. Cost is $15 for students, $25 for Gustavus employees, and $30 for the general public and includes light refreshments in the morning and a lunch in the afternoon.

This conference is organized by Gustavus Women In Leadership, a student/alumnae program that seeks to help the women of Gustavus in their academic, professional, and personal leadership development. Gustavus seniors Katie Ness ’12 and Abby Roff ’12 are co-presidents of the organization. Seniors Kelsey Swanson ’12 and Stacey Tigges ’12 are co-chairs of the conference.
