With summer and graduation quickly approaching, many Gusties are probably beginning their hunt for jobs and internships. Although the warmer months seem far away, February is the time to begin the job search, especially for summer opportunities. A great way to begin this process is through attending the Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair.
The Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair is an annual event which offers an exclusive opportunity for Gusties and other private college students to get noticed by various employers, because the fair is specifically for private colleges in MN.
This fair differs from other fairs in that it is for undergraduates ONLY (no alumni or master’s degree), and candidates are able to contact employers prior to the fair to schedule interviews to take place at the fair.
There are information sessions and panels including: bioscience careers, consulting careers, job search for international candidates and many other genres. Students will have the opportunity to network with 260+ organizations who are actively recruiting for jobs and internships. Companies attending include Target, Epic, Mayo clinic, Sherman Williams and more.
All sophomores, juniors and seniors are welcome to attend. The event will be held in-person on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Minneapolis Convention Center or virtually on March 1st.
This is a free event, but students must be registered prior to attending through Handshake; registration opens February 15th 2022.
