The E Terry Stone Investments Club Mission is a student led organization with high standards of professionalism, discipline, research, and stewardship that offers educational opportunities through exploring the dynamics, opportunities, and risks embodied in the stock market. Led by members with prior experience, the Club actively monitors the market, formulates educated decisions, and applies investing theories to the real world. The Club heavily values and emphasizes the educational aspect of investing, rather than simply profit generation.
Back by popular demand after J-Term, the Skone Investment Club student leaders will continue sharing information about markets and investing. Our theme is Demystifying the Market. Everyone is welcome to join these quick and interactive sessions regardless of investing experience.
Each “Markets You Thought Hard”, or “M.Y.T.H.” session, shares a popular and useful topic that Skone Club students will discuss, leaving time for questions.
All sessions will be held on Zoom and will run on Thursdays from 10 am – 10:30 am during the spring semester. The schedule of topics is below, and is also available on the E/M Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/GustavusEM . Topics are subject to change if something really interesting and unique happens that the students want to share.
Please join us! Email Club advisor Kathy Lund Dean at lunddean or any of the Skone Club student officers at IC-officers@lists.gustavus.edu with questions.
