Ellen Krueger worked with me all semester on an independent study in ethics as part of a student ethics fellowship that my position supports. LOTS of reading and writing and reflecting on where she personally draws ethical lines as she anticipates joining an organization. The entire Management major professors turned out for her presentation, as well as Accounting guru Laura Bowyer. Ellen did an amazing job really diving into her own ethical frames and discovering her own values set– not an easy task. She has set the bar very high for the next students who take on the fellowship opportunity!

And more from Kathi Tunheim’s students, as they served the Gustavus Women in Leadership managers Megan Myhre and Elizabeth Johnson:

Our project this semester was with Gustavus Women in Leadership. Our purpose was to provide on-boarding recommendations, survey both student and alumni chapters on levels of satisfaction and engagement, and gather evaluations from the GWiL Conference and provide recommendations from our research.

As GWIL continues to flourish, their work is so important as quality management and stopping to consider what is working and what may need tweaking as the program grows.
